7th Pay Commission Latest News Today: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is inviting applications for the various posts of Medical Officer (Class-II) till March 31. Interested candidates can get further information on the GPSC Recruitment 2021 by logging into the official website at gpsc.gujarat.gov.in.

Online application: The online application has started from March 16, 2021 and will continue till March 31, 2021 until 1 PM.

Total vacancies: There is a total number of 1000 vacancies for the post of Medical Officer (Class-II).

7th pay commission pay: The pay scale for the posts is Rs.53,100 - 1,67,800 according to 7th Pay Commission.

Age limit: The candidates who are applying must not be less than 20 years of age and not more than 35 years of age as on March 31, 2021.

Educational qualification: An interested candidate must possess the following qualifications in order to apply:

1) A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree obtained from any of the universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956 or an equivalent qualification recognized under the Medical Council Act,1956.

2) The basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967

3) An adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
