7th Pay Commission latest news today: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited application against 12 vacancies that offer lucrative salary as per 7th Pay Commission (7th CPC) recommendations plus NPA. As many as 12 vacancies for the post of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Social and Preventive Medicine or Community Medicine) have been advertised by the UPSC.  

The post is suitable for Physically Challenged person with disability of Blind(B) or Low Vision (LV) or Hard of Hearing (HH) or Locomotor disability, reads the UPSC notification. Last date of application is February 11, 2021.  

Seven seats have been earmarked for Unreserved category candidates, two for economically weaker section, two for other backward caste and one for scheduled Tribe candidates. The job is permanent and selected candidates will be posted as Assistant Professor in Ministry of Health.

The candidates will be given salary as per 7th Pay Commission Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix of plus NPA. Meaning, a candidate selected for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor will be paid 7th CPC salary in the range of Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700.

Age limit for candidates applying for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Social and Preventive Medicine or Community Medicine) is 40 years. The candidates will be given relaxation in age as per UPSC norms.  

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

*A recognized MBBS degree qualification  

*Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality

*At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate
