Vande Bharat Express Train Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru Ticket Price, Stops, Timings, Route: Vande Bharat Express train from Mysuru to Chennai via Bengaluru City was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, November 11, at KSR railway station in Bengaluru. This would be the fifth Vande Bharat Express. The four others are New Delhi to Varanasi Vande Bharat Express; New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express; Mumbai to Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Capital via Ahmedabad Vande Bharat and New Delhi to Una - Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express.

Chennai to Mysuru via Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express is the first semi-high speed train in the South. Already, there are many trains between Bengaluru and Chennai: Shatabdi Express, Brindavan Express, Mass Double-Decker, Guwahati Express, Lalbagh Express, Chennai Express, Kaveri Express, and Chennai Mail.

Vande Bharat Express Train Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru route

 
Vande Bharat Express Train Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru will run on this route: Chennai Central, Bengaluru City and Mysuru Junction. It will cross Perambur, Veppampattu, Vellore Katpadi Junction, Gudupalli and Malur railways stations. 

Vande Bharat Express Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru Stops 

Vande Bharat Express Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru will stop at two stations. It will halt at Vellore Katpadi Junction and Bengaluru City Junction during its run between Chennai Central and Mysuru Junction. The train will also have a technical halt at Jolarpettai railway station.

Vande Bharat Express Train Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru Timings

 
Vande Bharat Express Chennai to Mysuru will run 6 days a week. It will not run on Wednesday. Vande Bharat Express will depart from Chennai Central at 05:50 am. It will reach Vellore Katpadi Junction at 7:21 AM and depart at 7:25 AM. The train will stop at Bengaluru City Junction at 10:25 am after covering a distance of 359 km. The train will halt at Bengaluru City Junction for 5 minutes. It will arrive at Mysuru Junction at 12:30 pm after covering 137.6 km.

On the return journey, Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mysuru Junction at 1:05 . It will reach Bengaluru City Junction at 2:55 pm and Vellore Katpadi Junction at 4:50 PM. It will terminate at Chennai Central at 7:35 pm.

Vande Bharat Express is unique given its speed and facilities. The train would help cut travel time and give a new travel experience. The train can travel at a speed of 160 km per hour. If run at full capacity, the train can touch Chennai from Bengaluru in just three hours. 

Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, a production unit of the railways, developed the train which has an intelligent braking system enabling better acceleration and deceleration. 

Vande Bharat Express Facilities

All the coaches are equipped with automatic doors, GPS-based audio-visual passenger information system, on-board hotspot Wi-Fi for entertainment purpose, and comfortable seats. The executive class has rotating chairs. It is much more than the conventional Shatabdi rake of equal number of coaches.
