Relief to railway passengers! IRCTC to restore cooked food service from February 14 in all trains

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) announced on Friday that it will resume serving cooked meals on all trains from February 14. However, ready-to-eat meals will also continue to be available on demand. 

On March 23, 2020, e-catering services were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown was implemented.

IRCTC started a catering service in the year 2014, which allows passengers to order food of their choice from reputed brands as well as popular regional and local delicacies on the phone or online and have it delivered to their seats at the railway station.
