Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express: Route, Train Number, Time Table, Stops, Ticket Price, Fare, Stations: Indian Railways has launched the third Vande Bharat Express. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, September 30, flagged off the Vande Bharat Express between Gandhinagar Capital-Ahmedabad and Mumbai Central. The train will cover a distance of approximately 520 km in 6.20 hours. To reach Ahmedabad from Mumbai Central, Vande Bharat Express will take 5.25 hours. 

Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Route, Time Table, Stops

Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mumbai Central at 6:10 AM and reach Gandhinagar Capital at 12:30 PM. The train will halt at Surat at 8:50 AM, Vadodara at 10:20 and Ahmedabad at 11:35 AM.

On the return journey, Vande Bharat Express will depart from Gandhinagar Capital at 2:05 PM and reach Mumbai Central at 8:35 PM. It will halt at Ahmedabad railway station at 2:40 PM, Vadodara at 4 PM and Surat at 5:40 PM.

Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will run 6 days a week -- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Gandhinagar Capital to Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express will have 16 coaches (Chair Car and Executive Chair Car compartments).

The train will offer facilities such as sliding doors, personalized reading lights, mobile charging points, attendant call buttons, bio-toilets, automatic entry and exit doors, CCTV cameras, reclining facility and comfortable seats.

Gandhinagar to Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price, Fare

The fare for Mumbai-Ahmedabad journey by executive chair car will be Rs 2,505 while that for chair car will be Rs 1,385. 

Vande Bharat is a semi-high-speed train. It is a self-propelled engine train. It does not have a separate engine. It has automatic doors and air-conditioned chair car coaches and a revolving chair that can rotate up to 180 degrees.

The two other Vande Bharat Express trains are -- New Delhi to Varanasi (inaugural run on February 15, 2019) and New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (inaugural run on October 3, 2019).

Vande Bharat Express Speed

Vande Bharat Express is an indigenously designed semi-High speed self-propelled train set of 16 coaches. The train reaches 160 kmph speed in just 140 seconds.

Mumbai-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express Time Table, Schedule 

Meanwhile, the Indian Railways has changed the Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express time table. 

12009 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express will depart from Mumbai Central at 6:20 AM. It will reach Ahmedabad at 12:45 PM. The train will halt at Borivali at 6:43 AM.

12010 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Shatabdi Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 3:10 PM and reach Mumbai Central at 9:45 PM. The train will halt at Borivali at 8:46 PM.
