Maharashtra: Government is preparing to introduce vehicle location tracking system(VLTS) in Public Transport

Maharashtra government is preparing to introduce (VLTS- vehicle location tracking system) in all public transport vehicles for the safety of the people. Through this new technology, it will be easy to trace the correct location and speed of vehicles, Also a Panic button will be installed in the vehicles, so that passengers can press the panic button in case of any danger. This technology will be linked to the RTO, Police and Traffic Department.
