Aadhaar card mandatory for opening bank account, link it by Dec 31

The Centre has announced its decision making Aadhaar Card mandatory for opening bank accounts and carrying financial transactions of Rs 50,000 and above. The existing customers have been asked to submit their Aadhaar card number by December 31.
