Ordering ‘weatherproof’ Aadhaar PVC card made easy now; follow these 6 steps to get your card delivered

How to Order PVC Aadhaar Card: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced new facility for Aadhaar card holders. This facility will help you order your Aadhaar PVC card through any mobile number now. Earlier only mobile number linked with Aadhaar card was used to avail this facility.  

You will be charged a nominal fee of Rs 50 for ordering Aadhaar PVC card through mobile number. There will be no limits on number of orders you make. This also allows you to order

Aadhaar PVC card for your entire family. This card comes with digitally signed Secure QR code, hologram, ghost image, guilloche pattern and other security features.

“Aadhaar PVC card is completely weather-proof. With good quality printing and lamination, you can now bring it everywhere without having to worry about it being damaged, even by the rain. Order your Aadhaar PVC online,” it said n another tweet.  

How to Order PVC Aadhaar Card: Follow these steps  
Step1: Click on the link https://residentpvc.uidai.gov.in/order-pvcreprint.php. It will take you to UIDAI official website.    
Step 2 Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar Number/ 16-digit virtual ID/28-digit EID to begin  
Step 3: Enter security code  
Step 4: Tick the box that says “my mobile number is not registered”    
Step 5: Enter the OTP  
Step 6: Hit submit and make the payment of ₹ 50 to order one PVC card    

The Aadhaar PVC card will be delivered by Speed Post within five working days (excluding the date of request)  
Note: you can also use your Aadhaar number/virtual identification number/EID to order Aadhaar card.
