How to retrieve lost/forgotten Aadhaar number when it is linked with mobile number?
Visit the following link to retrieve your lost or forgotten Aadhaar number online: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/retrieve-eid-uid
Then, select your requirement to retrieve Aadhaar. After that, enter your full name as in Aadhar along with mobile number/email that is linked with Aadhaar and Captcha, followed by the OTP. After completing the mobile-based OTP authentication, the Aadhar number will be sent to you through SMS to the linked mobile number.
This service is free of cost.
In case, your mobile number is not linked with your Aadhaar number, you can follow any of these two processes.
Option 1: You can retrieve the Aadhaar number with the help of the operator at the Aadhaar enrollment centre with the help of the ‘Print Aadhaar’ service.
You will have to visit the centre in person and provide the following mandatory information: Name, gender, district or PIN code as per the Aadhaar generated enrolment.
In case the requirement could not be traced due to presence of multiple records, additional available demographic details such as year of birth, C/O, state, etc. may also be provided for narrowing the search.
You will then be asked to provide biometric authentication using single fingerprint or single iris. Once the match is found, the operator will provide you will the printout of the e-Aadhaar letter.
