DDA Housing Scheme 2022: 'First come, First serve' - Registration, Price List, Locations, other details
DDA Housing Scheme 2022: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the DDA 2022 Housing scheme on 12th September, Monday. In order to fix the earlier maladies of prolonged waiting time, and then rejection after allotment, DDA has this time come up with an On-line Running Housing Scheme which will enable people to get their dream DDA Flats on first come first serve basis.
DDA Housing Scheme 2022: Location
DDA flats can be booked under this scheme from 12th September 2022 onwards, on first come first serve basis.
The main features of the scheme are as follows:
DDA Housing Scheme 2022: Number of flats
As per the circular, there are in total of 8,530 DDA flats on offer. These DDA flats consist of Low Income Group (LIG) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) flats.
Details of these 8,530 DDA flats are as follows —
a) DDA LIG Flats (one-bedroom flats)
Total number of LIG/one-bedroom flats: 5,850;
Location: Sector G-7, Narela;
Number of flats available on first come first serve basis (FCFS): 509;
Approximate range of plinth area of flat: 49.90 square meters;
Tentative disposal cost: Rs 22.80 lakhs
b) DDA EWS flats
Total number of EWS flats: 2,880;
Location: Sector A1 to A4, Pocket 1A, 1B & 1C, Narela;
Number of flats available on first come first serve basis (FCFS): 772;
Approximate range of plinth area of flat: 46.71-54.08 square meters;
Tentative disposal cost: Rs 10.75 to 12.43 lakhs
Hence, the total number of flats available as per the first come first serve system is 1,281.
In its circular, DDA has informed that in the first phase these 1,281 flats will be available till the entire inventory is sold out. Once these are sold out, the authority will then decide if additional inventory will be added. However, the notice informs that the total number of flats could increase or decrease as per the availability.
In order to further access the details regarding the size of the flats, location of the pocket, layout plan of the DDA flat, those interested have been advised to log on to official DDA Housing Scheme 2022 website/webpage: https://eservices.dda.org.in/.
DDA Housing Scheme 2022: Deposit Money, Application Amount
Those applying for EWS flats under the DDA 2022 Housing Scheme shall have to deposit Rs 10,000 as deposit, while those opting for DDA 2022 LIG flats will have to pay Rs 15,000 as deposit.
As per the DDA Scheme 2022 circular, this deposit will be adjusted against the cost of the flat but it will not be non-refundable in case a successful applicant surrenders or cancels the transaction.
DDA Housing Scheme 2022: How to apply
Those interested must apply online on the official DDA Housing Scheme 2022 website: https://eservices.dda.org.in/.
Early applicants will have a choice to book their specific flat of choice on 'First Come First Serve' basis.
While selecting a specific DDA flat online, the applicant will be given a reasonable time (30 minutes approximately) to deposit their "application money" online. During these 30 minutes, the flat will not be available for selection by other applicants.
Once the application money is paid, the flat gets reserved for that particular applicant.
DDA Housing Scheme 2022: DDA Flat Allotment
DDA will issue the demand-cum-allotment letter for the DDA 2022 Housing Scheme through online mode only. This DDA Allotment letter will be available for download on the online portal only.
The DDA Flat allottee will be required to deposit the remaining amount (cost of DDA flat and taxes, minus the application money) within 90 days to avoid paying extra interest on the transaction.
DDA Housing Scheme 2022: DDA Flat Possession Letter
Once the applicant clears all dues pertaining to their DDA Flat, then the authority will issue DDA flat possession letter through online mode only.
DDA Housing Scheme 2022: DDA Flat Eligibility Criteria
Earlier, in order to qualify for the EWS Flats of DDA Housing Scheme, individuals were expected to have an annual income of less than Rs 3 lakhs and an annual family income of less than Rs 10 lakhs.
However, this time around for the 2022 DDA Housing Scheme, the authority has relaxed this criteria, and all persons having an annual family income of less than Rs 10 lakh are eligible to apply for DDA EWS flats.
