Narendra Modi swears as Prime Minister 

Narendra Modi was sworn in Sunday for a rare third consecutive term as India’s prime minister, relying on his coalition partners after his party failed to win a parliamentary majority in a surprise outcome. Modi took the oath of office, administered by President Droupadi Murmu, at India’s presidential palace Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

Rajnath Singh takes oath as union minister 

Rajnath Singh, whose illustrious political career spanned over five decades, on Sunday took oath as a member of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Cabinet.

Amit Shah took oath 

The 59-year-old BJP leader and the party's key strategist served as the Union Home Minister in the previous Modi government. Shah had won Gujarat's Gandhinagar seat by a huge margin of 7,44,716 votes. Shah gathered 10,10,972 votes beating Congress' Sonal Patel who got 2,66,256.

JP Nadda took oath 

The 63-year old took oath as a Cabinet minister, becoming the sole representative from Himachal Pradesh in the BJP-led government. It is not yet known which ministry will be assigned to him.
He served as Union health minister in Modi's first term from November 9, 2014, to May 30, 2019.

Nitin Gadkari took oath 

The 67-year-old leader from Nagpur in Maharashtra has been the longest serving Minister for Road Transport & Highways as he held the portfolio in the last two governments led by Narendra Modi.

Former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy takes oath as Union Minister

Former Karnataka chief minister and Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday took oath as a Union Cabinet Minister in the NDA government. He was one of the two JD(S) candidates who won the Lok Sabha elections. Kumaraswamy won the Mandya constituency.

Lallan Singh sworn in as Union Minister

Singh (69) won the Lok Sabha elections from the Munger constituency. The former JD(U) national president and four-time MP Lallan Singh has been among the closest aides of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Following the results of the Lok Sabha elections, the JD(U) leader emphasized that the constituent parties are united in their backing for Modi to take the oath for his third term as Prime Minister.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan sworn in for first time as Union minister

The 65-year-old BJP leader was administered oath by President Droupadi Murmu at the swearing-in ceremony at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Ram Mohan Naidu is a third-time MP from Srikakulam constituency while Chandra Sekhar, the richest candidate in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, was elected for the first time from Guntur.

Dr. Virendra Kumar, a prominent Scheduled Caste face of the party and eight-time MP, won his fourth consecutive election from Tikamgarh (SC) seat, which was carved out in the 2008 delimitation process.

Pralhad Joshi

A die-hard RSS loyalist and long-time BJP worker, Pralhad Joshi is a fifth time member of Parliament from the saffron party's bastion of Dharwad in Karnataka. Said to be close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leader Amit Shah, he held portfolios of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs in the previous Cabinet.
