7th Pay Commission latest news today UPDATES: Big benefits for these government employees across departments, states, ministries

Talking about the government's nod to implement 7th CPC bonus and allowances, Shiv Gopal Mishra, General Secretary at All India Railway Men's Federation, said, "After the implementation of 7th Pay Commission's recommendations, all employees would get bonus and allowance as per the 7th CPC recommendation, but even after in-principal approval to paying hourly bonus and other allowances to the railway workshop and production units, the notification in this regard is still awaited." Notably, as per Indian Railways rules, if an employee posted at a workshop or production unit works beyond working hours, he will be able to get an hourly incentive bonus, but to calculate it, there is a fixed formula. If the Indian Railways followes this formula, it could bear a huge burden on its exchequer, therefore, to overcome this, a new formula was coined on which both Indian Railways administration and employees agreed. As per the 7th Pay Commission recommendation, one of the state governments has decided to double the festival advance to its employees ahead of the festival season. The decision to this effect was taken by the CM E Palaniswami-led government in Tamil Nadu. Earlier in 2012, the state government had increased the festival advance from Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000. As per the Tamil Nadu government notification, the decision would benefit all state government employees, teaching and non-teaching staffs and aided educational institutions. Recently under the 7th Pay Commission linked jobs offer, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has issued a notification inviting applications for the posts of 2370 Clerk, PGT, TGT, Staff Nurse and others. Under this 7th CPC job offer, Lower Division Clerk will get Pay scale Rs 19900 – 63,200,  Level -2 of  the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix, while Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) will get a Pay scale Rs 47,600 – 151,100,  Level -8 of the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix. Image source: Pixabay

For Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Miscellaneous Category of Teachers, Female Staff Nurse, Rs 44,900-142400 is the pay scale under Level -7 of the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix, while Catering Assistant would get Pay scale Rs 25,500 – 81,100, under  Level -4 of the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
