Yogi Adityanath scraps all leaves of Uttar Pradesh government employees in late Sunday night move
Chief Secretary Anup Pandey Late Sunday night, issued a circular in the state saying that the leave of all government employees stands cancelled till August 15.
To ensure security CM Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has cancelled all leave of government employees in the state. The last Monday of the month on 'Sawan', which coincides with Eid al-Adha or Bakri Eid falls on August 12 because of which the government has decided to cancel the leave of all government employees in Uttar Pradesh.
In a circular, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath`s government has cancelled the leaves of all personnel related to law enforcement agencies and other government officials till August 15.
Chief Secretary Anup Pandey Late Sunday night, issued a circular in the state saying that the leave of all government employees stands cancelled till August 15. According to the IANS report, the decision has been taken in view of the fact that the last Monday of the month on `Sawan` falls on August 12 which coincides with Eid al-Adha or Bakri Eid.
The circular also said that the leave is to be granted only in emergency situations after proper verification.
Apart from the coinciding of 2 festivals also the Intelligence inputs have warned the state government of a possible Naxal attack over the Sonebhadra massacre in which 10 persons belonging to the Gond tribal community were killed last month.
