Western Railway Recruitment 2019: 7th CPC job alert! Check vacancies, other details

Railway Recruitment 2019: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of Western Railway has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer and Depot Material Superintendent from interested candidates, who should submit their applications before the last date i.e, October 15, 2019 at its official website-www.rrc-wr.com. According to the notification, there are 141 posts of Junior Engineer and 8 positions for Depot Material Superintendent. Candidates should know that application process for the recruitment has already started from September 16, 2019.

1. Railway Recruitment 2019: Junior Engineer

Candidates should hold Three years Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration Or they should have a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

For Mechanical positions, candidates should have Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering Or should have a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.

For Electrical positions, candidates should have Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering Or should have a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.

For Signal & Telecom positions, candidates should hold Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering degree Or should have a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

2. Railway Recruitment 2019: Depot Material Superintendent

Interested candidates should have a three years Diploma degree in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute.

General Instruction

All regular employees who possess the prescribed educational qualification as indicated above, working in 7th CPC Level lower than the Grade Pay/Scale for which GDCE is being conducted are eligible to appear in the GDCE selection.

Further, all regular employees possessing prescribed educational qualification as indicated above working in same 7th CPC Level for which GDCE is being conducted can also appear in the selection from non-safety to safety category posts as well as safety to safety category posts.

Interested candidates should know that RPF/RPSF personnel are not eligible to apply against the GDCE scheme. Notably, there is no reservation of posts for persons with Benchmark Disabilities and Economically Weaker Sections, according to the Railway Board’s instruction issued through a letter (No. E (NG)I-2018/PM1/23 dated 02/05/2019.[RBE-72/2019].
