How to update Aadhaar Card Address: When people migrate to a new place, they often find it difficult to get a valid address proof. However, it is not as difficult now as it used to be to get a proof of residence. Now, Aadhaar cardholders can use the address of the landlord by securing consent from them. To change the address of Aadhaar, a cardholder valid address proof of residence need not submit a valid address proof of residence. The cardholders have to get a validation letter for Aadhaar address change.
The cardholder needs an address verifier or lender who must be willing to allow the resident to use their Aadhaar address. One can log in to UIDAI portal to generate an address validation letter.
How to request for address validation letter?
Step 1:
The resident has to go to UIDAI official website - uidai.gov.in to initiate the request
The person has to login with Aadhaar number
The resident has to enter the verifier's Aadhaar
Now, he gets a SRN
Step 2:
Address verifier consent:
The address verifier will receive OTP intimation and link for consent in mobile
The verifier has to click on the link and give consent

Resident submits a request:
The resident will receive confirmation of verifier consent on mobile
The person has to login with SRN
The residents have to preview the address and submit
