UPSC Recruitment 2019: Important notification update for aspirants of Union Public Service Commission jobs

UPSC Recruitment 2019: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2019 Notification soon on upsc.gov.in. Candidates who are preparing for the examination will be able to apply for Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination 2019 in March this year. According to the UPSC calendar, it will release the notification on 20 March 2019, the online application will be opened till 16th April, 2019 and the examination will be conducted on 28 June 2019.

UPSC conducts this examination for the recruitment to Junior Time Scale of the Services. The candidates who wish to apply for the examination must have to be at least Graduate and Post-Graduate Degree in relevant subject and have to be between 21 years to 30 years of age.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor Posts

Educational Qualification:
Indian Economic Service- Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Economtrics from a recognized University.

Indian Statistical Service - Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a recognized University.

Age Limit - 21 to 30 years (Age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per govt. norms)

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test.
