UPPRPB recruitment 2018: Apply for 56,778 various UP Police posts from Nov 1
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will recruit over 55000 police personnel to fill up the vacant posts. The application submission process will start from November 1, 2018. The UPPRPB will recruit Constable, Fireman, and Jail Warder. The applicants should go through the official notification before applying for the posts. The candidates must make sure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria stated in the notification.
Educational qualification:
The candidates should be Intermediate pass from any recognised board.
Age limit:
The candidates should be between 18 and 22 years of age of July 1, 2018.
Selection process:
The candidates have to sit for a written examination of 300 marks. The exam will have negative marking for wrong answers. Successful candidates in the written examination will be called for document verification and also have to appear for physical efficiency test.
The written exam for for these posts will be held on October 25 and 26, while the result will be announced on December 1, 2018 and the list will be declared by December 15.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary (Home) Arvind Kumar earlier said that there were 97,000 vacant posts against 2.29 lakh posts in UP Police and the recruitment started for 51216 police constables. There were also vacant posts in Fire Services and Prison departments.
