UP Police Recruitment 2018: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has begun recruitment process for recruitment to 49,568 Constable posts in police and Provincial Armed Constabulary wings. The last date for online submission of the application form is December 8, 2018. The offline application can be submitted till December 10, 2018.
The candidates may visit UPPRPB official website uppbpb.gov.in. The applicants should read through the official notification before applying for the posts. They have to make sure that they fulfil all the requisite criteria for these posts.
UP Police Recruitment 2018: Vacancy details:
There are 49568 posts open for recruitment which include 31360 posts of Constable (Citizen Police) and 18208 posts of Constable (Provincial Armed Constabulary).
Eligibility criteria
The candidates have to be at least 12th pass from any recognised board or university.
Desirable qualification:
1. Computer education certificate like DOEACC / NIELIT 'O'.
2. 2 years experience in Provincial Army or NCC 'B' certificate.
Age limit
For Male candidates, the limit is 18 to 22 years of age, while for Female candidates it is 18 to 25 years of age. Age relaxation for the Reserved Category candidates will be according to government rules.
Selection process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance/evaluation in - academic records, Phisical Efficiency Test(PET), written exam and document verification.
