Telangana Industry Minster invites Tesla CEO Elon Musk to do business in state

Telangana’s Industry and Commerce Minister KT Rama Rao has invited Tesla Inc’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elon Musk to partner with the Government of Telangana to set up “shop”. The invitation to Tesla’s founder was made via his personal Twitter handle.

Also know as KTR, the Minister said that Telangana was a top notch business destination in India.

“Hey Elon, I am the Industry & Commerce Minister of Telangana state in India. Will be happy to partner Tesla in working through the challenges to set shop in India/Telangana. Our state is a champion in sustainability initiatives & a top notch business destination in India,” the Minister said in his tweet.

He was responding to a tweet from Musk on 13 January.
