Stree box office collection day 4: Shraddha Kapoor starrer earns whopping Rs 41.97 crore

Stree box office collection day 4: This horror-comedy-drama movie starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao has earned Rs 41.97 crore inclusive of Monday. Stree collection opening weekend, in first three days, was as high as Rs 14.57 crore. Stree movie has earned Rs 6.82 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 10.87 crore on Saturday, and a whopping figure of Rs 14.38 crore on Sunday. On day 4 it earned Rs 9.70 crore. Monday, being a public holiday, helped the movie move rapidly near the massive Rs 50 crore mark.

"The response is truly overwhelming. It's a script that's been close to our heart ever since we wrote it. We were waiting for the right time to make it. I now think we chose the right script to turn producers with," they said in a statement.

The movie, directed by Amar Kaushik, is based on the urban legend of Nale Ba, about a witch who knocks on people's doors at night.
Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and other cast members have already celebrated the success of this movie with a massive party.
