Indiabulls Ventures: The Capital market company Indiabulls Ventures on Wednesday reported an 89.8% year-on-year decline in consolidated profit at Rs 12.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a net profit of Rs 122 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated sales dropped 45.2% to Rs 382.6 crore against Rs 698.2 crore posted in a year-ago period. EBITDA stood at Rs 179.7 crore, down 56.1% from Rs 409.8 crore posted last year. The margin dropped to 46.9% in Q1FY21 against 58.6% reported in Q1FY20.
Shriram EPC Ltd: The Construction engineering company Shriram EPC has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 29.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a net profit of Rs 6.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Consolidated sales dropped 66.7% to Rs 127.1 crore compared to Rs 381.9 crore posted last year. It posted a negative EBITDA of Rs 7.5 crore in the period under observation against positive EBITDA of Rs 23.3 crore posted last year. The margin shifted to negative zone to – (minus) 7.5% in Q1FY21 against a positive margin of 6.1% reported in Q1FY20.
Bharat Dynamics OFS/ IRCTC OFS/ Happiest Minds IPO/ Route Mobile IPO
Bharat Dynamics OFS Update: The offer for sale (OFS) of government shares in defence firm Bharat Dynamics (BDL) was subscribed 76% on the last day of bidding. The base offer of 10% share sale was fully subscribed, while the additional 5% greenshoe option failed to gain traction. The non-retail quota was subscribed 1.40 times. The floor price for the OFS was set at Rs 330 each with Rs 20 discount to retail investors on cut-off price. The government is likely to raise about Rs 770 crore from the BDL OFS. Besides, LIC buys additional 8.27% stake through OFS, stake increases to 10.5%.
IRCTC OFS: In its clarification to the exchanges on reports that the government is likely to sell 15-20% stake in IRCTC via OFS, the company has said, “In this connection, we would like to submit that the quantum in case of OFS is decided by the Government of India and the Company has no role in this regard. Further, the Company has not received any information in this regard from the Government of India, which is required to be filed with exchanges.”
Happiest Mind IPO Update: The Rs 702 crore initial public offer (IPO) by Happiest Minds Technologies Limited was subscribed 151 times on the last day of the bidding process. The quota set for retail investors was subscribed 71 times, while the QIB quota was subscribed 77 times. The non-institutional investors (NIIs) quota was subscribed 351 times. The price band of the issue was fixed at Rs 165-166 per share. Retail investors were able to bid for a minimum one lot, amounting to 90 shares and in multiples of 90 shares thereafter. The IPO would include a fresh issue of Rs 110 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 3.56 crore equity shares by promoters.
Route Mobile IPO Update: The Rs 600 crore initial public offer (IPO) by Route Mobile, the omnichannel cloud communication service provider (CPaaS), was fully subscribed on day 1 of the bidding. Today is the second day for subscription. The offer will remain open until September 11, 2020. IPO Size is Rs 600 crore of which the fresh issue is of Rs 240 crore and offer for sale (OFS) is Rs 360 crore).
The price band of the issue has been fixed at Rs 345-350/share. Retail investors were able to bid for a minimum one lot, amounting to 40 shares.
Indiabulls Housing Finance: Mortgage financier Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd on Wednesday said that it has launched a qualified institutional placement (QIP) offering to raise funds from institutional investors. Floor price has been fixed at Rs 206.7 per share. The company may offer a discount of not more than 5% on the floor price. The board will meet on September 14, 2020, to consider and approve the issue price, permitted under SEBI guidelines. Besides, the company also said that it is in the process of partially divesting its equity shareholding in OakNorth Bank in one or more tranches to boost capital and grow the loan book.

Syngene International: Syngene International and HiMedia Laboratories IgG based ELISA test kit for Covid-19, have received the approval by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The product will be launched after it receives approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO). Syngene and HiMedia have earlier collaborated to manufacture ELISafe 19, an IgG based ELISA test kit for Covid-19.
