Stock markets Live: Sensex, Nifty ends in red; IndusInd bank reverses losses, Asian Paints top loser

Today for entire trading session, the Indian stock markets was trading in red, BSE Sensex ended at 33,847.23 down by 287.15 points or 0.84%.

Where as on the other hand Nifty ended at 10,146.80 down by 98.45 points or 0.96%.

Top gainers on BSE Sensex were IndusInd bank ended at Rs 1480 per piece high by 2.62%, HDFC at Rs 1689.90 per piece up by 1.79%, Yes bank at Rs 213.65 per piece up by 1.26%, Bajaj Auto at Rs 2586.40 per piece up by 1.16% and Power grid at Rs 190.95 per piece up by 1.01%.

Top losers on BSE were Asian Paints finishing at Rs 1138.80 per piece low by 5.21% , Sun pharma at Rs 576.30 per piece low by 5.07%, Wipro at Rs 309.30 per piece down by 3.93%, TCS at Rs 1844.15 per piece low by 3.05% and Infosys at Rs 657.85 per piece down by 3.01%.

15:05 PM: BSE Sensex was trading at 33767.28 low by 367.10 points or 1.08% at around 1502hrs.

Meanwhile on the other hand Nifty was also performing in red, trading at 10,111.65 low by 133.60 points or 1.30% at around 1503 hrs.

14:45 PM:  S&P BSE SmallCap Index trading low at 13575.36 low by 229.52 points or 1.66% at around 1437 hrs.

Top losers on the Index ere BEPL trading at Rs 88.85 per piece down by 11.86%, Shiva texyarn at Rs 210.65 low by 10.70%, Kesar Petro products at Rs11.34 per piece low by 9.64%, Zensar technologies at Rs 247.50 per piece low by 7.56% and Shriram EPC at Rs 10.70 low by 9.09%.

Followed by RPP infra project at Rs 128 low by 8.28%, Aksharchem at Rs 459.75 low bu 8.10%, Auto motive at Rs 1020.10 low by 7.49%, Fiberweb at Rs 44.30 low by 8.19%, Sree leathers at Rs 160.10 low by 7.75% and Goa carbon at Rs 545.75 low by 7.34 %.

Futher RBL at Rs 531.10 low by 7.34%, Rane holding at Rs 1360 low by 7.29%, H.G infra engineering at Rs 188 low by 7.16% and Andhra petrochemicals at Rs 82 low by 6.66% at around 1430 hrs.

14:30 PM:  In the announcement of Q2FY19 results Bajaj Finance posted consolidated profit of Rs 923.47 crore witnessing 54% growth on yearly basis compared to Rs 597.87 crore profit recorded last year in the same quarter. 

However, currently the company is trading at Rs 2090.40 per piece low by Rs 28.05 or 1.32% at around 1522 hrs.

11:50 AM: Yellow metal rates for 24 Carat today is Rs 33,310 up by Rs 10 from the previous close, which was Rs 33,300 for 10 per gram in India.

11:20 AM: Paint stocks emerged as worst performer with Kansai Narolac Paints touching an all time low of Rs 356.80 resulting in overall drop of 8.4%, something which can be blamed to its Q2FY19 performance. 
In the financial result of Q2FY19, it is noted that, the company has shown drop of 15.65% in net profit to Rs 121.99 crore. The net profit stood at Rs 144.63 crore a year ago same period. 

However, total income from operations of Kansai came in at Rs 1,307.87 up by 10.97% for Q2FY19 as compared to Rs 1,178.54 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

However, Kansai is currently trading at Rs 359.75 per piece lower by Rs 29.90 or 7.67% at around 1118 hrs.

11:00 AM: : Asian paints has emerged as a worst performer on exchange today. The shares are trading at Rs 1152.40 per piece, down by 49.05 or 4.08% at around 1017 hrs. The company has appointed Manish Choksi as a Non - Executive Director on Monday.

10:30 AM: There were certain stocks that came in the news after the market was closed for trade on monday and can have an impact on the market today. Here is the list of five stocks BHEL, Nestle, IL&FS, Kwality Ltd and Syndicate Bank.

9:40 AM: BSE Sensex trading at 33,864.89 down by 269.49 points or 0.79% at around 937 hrs.

Top gainers on BSE Sensex are IndusInd bank trading at Rs1496.15 high by 3.74%, Tata motors at Rs 172.70 per piece up by 1.26%, HDFC bank at Rs 1674.70 up by 0.87%, Yes bank at Rs 212.75 up by 0.83% and Adani ports at Rs 316.85 up by 0.68% at around 936 hrs.

Where as Asian paints among the top losers list trading at Rs 1138.30 low by 5.26% followed by ONGC trading at Rs 152.05 per piece down by 2.53%, Wipro at Rs 316.75 per piece low by 1.62% and Hindustan unilever at Rs 1561 per piece low by 1.51% at around 932 hrs.

9:15 AM: Indian stock market opens in red, BSE Sensex opens at 33,976.61 down by 157.77 points or 0.46% where as Nifty 50 at 10,187.55 low by 57.70 points or 0.56% at around 918 hrs.

9:00 AM: Rupee weakens today by 46 paise against US Dollar and is currently trading at 73.71. It closed at 73.25 against US dollar on Monday.
