Sarkari Naukri 2019: SSB notifies 150 vacancies; here is how to apply

Sarkari Naukri 2019: The recruitment for the position of Constable (GD) has been notified by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The interested candidates are requested to apply for the positions before the last date nears. The total number of vacancies available is 150 under Sports Quota. The candidates eligible for the vacancies available under this recruitment need to visit the official website for submission of form and payment of application fee

• Hockey : 7 seats

• Archery : 5 seats
• Athletics : 30 seats
• Gymnastics : 7 seats
• Wrestling : 21 seats
• Boxing : 5 seats
• Judo : 10 seats
• Weight Lifting : 6 seats
• Body Building : 2 seats
• Cycling : 3 seats
• Equestrian : 3 seats
• Badminton : 4 seats
• Taekwondo (Kyurugi) : 8 seats

Pay-scale

Constable (GD): Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100

Eligibility

• Constable: Matriculation or it’s equivalent from a recognized board.
• Players who have participated in any recognised events representing the country.

Age Limit

For the positions have a minimum age is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 23 years. The limit relaxation on age for certain categories are:

i)SC/ST candidates: 5 years
ii) OBC candidates: 3 years
iii) Persons with disability: 10 years (PWD+OBC= 13 years; PWD+SC/ST= 15 years) 

The candidates are supposed to apply for the positions by filling the application online. The application fee of Rs 100 can either be paid through payment gateway or challan. Candidates under the reserved category are exempted from the payment of fees.
