Sarkari Naukri 2019: Assam Police has posted a notification of recruitment for Steno, DEO, Typist, Peon and other seats. The eligible candidates are required to fill in the application form before the last date approaches. The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test, Physical Endurance as well as a viva-voce conducted by the selection body for various seats.

Educational Qualification

• Data Entry Operator : HSSLC passed
• UDA-cum :Accountant  : Graduate in Commerce
• Stenographer Gr. : Graduate in any discipline
• Lower Division Assistant : Graduate in any discipline
• Bench Assistant : Graduate in any discipline
• Typist : Graduate in any discipline
• Copyist :  HSSLC passed

Age Limit

For the positions offered by the Assam Police, the candidate must be between the age of 18 to 38 years. The limit relaxation on age for certain categories are:

i)SC/ST candidates: 5 years
ii) OBC candidates: 3 years
iii) Persons with disability: 10 years (PWD+OBC= 13 years; PWD+SC/ST= 15 years)

The candidates need to fill their application before the last date, in the prescribed format. No other form of submitting the form will be accepted. The candidates will be further  selected on the basis of a written test, Physical Endurance and a viva-voce.
