SAIL recruitment 2019: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has invited applications for as many as 62 vacant positions of Attendant cum Technician (trainee) at Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), which is a unit of SAIL. These vacancies are available in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Welder and Instrumentation for candidates in the age group of 18 to 28 years. Aspirants should submit their online applications at the SAIL's official website- sailcareers.com till April 8 2019, as the registration process has already from from March 8, 2019.

SAIL recruitment 2019: How to apply
Eligible candidates should follow the steps given below to submit their online application at SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant's website. Prior to submitting their forms, applicants are required to have valid email and scanned copies of their photo and signature.
1. Candidates should first log on to https://www.sailcareers.com/job-openings/?type=all_jobs
2. Visit "Jobs" section and select the desired post
3. Go through information carefully and click on "Apply Online"
4. Now “Click here for New Registration” tab if you are a new user
5. Candidates should carefully complete their registration and click on “Submit”
6. After registration process, log in using registered number and password
7. Fill all the details in application form and upload photo as well as signature
Candidates having matriculation qualification with ITI in the relevant trades can submit their applications for the posts. Such candidates should have completed their ITI from a government recognized institute.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written exam (English/ Hindi) which will be of two hours. The test paper will comprise 100 objective questions out of which 80 marks will assess technical knowledge of candidates, while rest will be for assessing general aptitude.
Notably, the written test will be organised at Rourkela, Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
According to SAIL job notification, "The minimum qualifying marks in the written test for unreserved posts will be determined based on 50 percentile score. For SC/ST/ OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/ PWD candidates, the minimum qualifying marks will be 40 percentile score."

Application fee: Candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ EWS categories need to pay Rs 150, while SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM candidates are exempted from payment of any fee.
