RRB JE Recruitment 2018: Apply for 14,033 Junior Engineer posts before January 31 on rrbcdg.gov.in

RRB JE Recruitment 2019: The application process for the recruitment of 14,033 JE or Junior Engineer posts have already begun. Interested candidates have to log in to the official website of RRB state-wise, in order to apply for the posts. Railway Recruitment Board has invited application for the post of JE or Junior Engineer. According to the official notification, released on December 29, 2018, there are 14,033 vacancies in Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. Interested candidates can apply for the posts from 2nd January, 2019 and the last date for submitting the application is 31st January, 2019.

Scale of Pay: For Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA):-Level 06 (RSRP 7th CPC Pay Matrix.) with initial pay of Rs. 35400/-, plus other allowances admissible at that time.

Age Limit: The candidates applying for the posts must be within 18-33 years of age (as on 01-01-2019).

Candidates are required to go through the Post Parameter Table, Vacancy Table and ascertain their eligibility to apply through online mode to anyone RRB only, depending upon their eligibility. The selection of RRB once exercised shall be final. Application to more than one RRB, will lead to rejection of all the applications.

Eligibility of the candidates will be considered only on the strength of the information furnished in the online application.

Selection Procedure: There shall be two stages Computer Based Test (CBT). There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Selected candidates will have to undergo training wherever prescribed and during training period only stipend will be paid as applicable.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have requisite Educational/Technical qualifications indicated for posts in Annexure-A of this CEN, from recognized Board/University/Institute as on the closing date for ONLINE Registration (31.01.2019). Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification should not apply.
