Purvanchal expressway accident: At least 6 killed in collision of double-decker buses in Barabanki
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief and extended condolences to the families of the victims who died in the accident.
At least six people lost their lives on the spot and over dozen suffered injuries after a speeding double-decker bus collided with a parked double-decker bus on the Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki on Monday morning.
The injured persons were admitted to CHC Haidergarh with those who sustained serious injuries being referred to the trauma centre in Lucknow, news agency ANI reported quoting news agency ANI.

The accident happened near Narendrapur Madraha village under the limits of Loniktra police station area. Police said that a rescue team including ASP Manoj Pandey is present on the spot.
Police said that both the double-decker buses were going to Delhi from Sitamarhi and Supaul in Bihar.
