Recruitment 2018: The Indian Navy has issued a notification to fill up the posts of Boat Crew Personnel. The last date for submission of the application form is August 14. The applicants should go through the official notification before applying for the posts. They must ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria. Any wrong information or error may lead to cancellation of the application form.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2018:  Educational/Technical Qualification and Experience:
Lascar-I: The applicants should be Matriculate with knowledge of Swimming.
Engine Driver: Applicants should be Matriculate and should hold permit from Mercantile Marine Department for Class III Driver. The candidates sshould possess 
2 years’ experience as Crew Engine Room.
Fireman: The applicants should be Matriculate with knowledge of Swimming.

Master Grade-I: The applicants have to be Matriculate with Certificate of Master 1stClass I.S.V. They shold hold at least two years of experience in the relevant fild.
Master Grade-II: The applicants have to be Matriculate with Certificate of Master 2nd Class I.S.V. The applicants should hold two years of experience in relevant field.
Syrang of Lascar: The applicants have to be Matriculate. The should hold at least Two years of experience as a Sukhani of a vessel.

Senior Engine Driver: The applicants have to be minimmum Matriculate and should hold Certificate of Competency as 1st Class Engine Driver. The applicants should hold at least 2 years experience on a vessel of not less than 225 B.H.P. as Incharge. 
Engine Driver II Class: The candidates have to be at least Matriculate with Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver 2nd Class.They should hold at least 2 years experience as a Syrang/Tindal on a vessel of over 400 B.H.P.

Greaser: The candidates should be minimum Matriculate. They should  have 3 years experience on a Seagoing vessel.

The selection will be on the basis of written test, physical test and swimming test.
