RBI announces 199 vacancies at rbi.org.in: All you need to know
Candidates applying for Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - (General), need to have a minimum of 60 per cent marks (50 per cent in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor's degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations.
RBI Recruitment 2019: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification inviting the eligible candidates for the recruitment of Officers in Grade B- DR (General), DEPR/DSIM-2019. RBI has notified a total of 199 vacancies out of which they have released 156 vacancies for Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- General, 20 vacancies for Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DEPR and 23 vacancies for Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DSIM. All the eligible and interested applicants can apply till October 11, 2019 on the official website ie. rbi.org.in. Notably, the last date for printing application is on October 26.
Pay scale:
All the selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹ 35,150/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 35150-1750 (9)-50900-EB-1750 (2)-54400-2000 (4)-62400 applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately ₹ 77,208/-(approx.)
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates applying for Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - (General), need to have a minimum of 60 per cent marks (50 per cent in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor's degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations.
The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor's degree will be in aggregate for all semesters/years.
Candidates applying for Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DEPR need to have a Master's Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR
PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR
Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute.
Candidates applying for Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DSIM, need to have a master's degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years; OR
Master's degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute; OR
M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters / years;
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years

Age limit:
A candidate applying for the post should be between the age limit of 21-30 years on the 1st of September 2019. For candidates possessing MPhil and PhD qualification, upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.
Steps to apply for RBI Grade B Recruitment 2019:
1. Candidate needs to visit the official website of RBI ie. rbi.org.in
2. Click on 'Recruitment of Officers in Grade B- DR (General), DEPR/DSIM-2019'
3. Click on the option 'Online applications'
4. Make your login account by entering the required details
5. Login to the website by entering user name and password
6. Complete the application form by paying the application fee and click on submit
Application Fees:
GEN/OBC/EWSs category candidates applying for the post need to pay Rs 850 as application fee including intimation charges, For SC/ST/PwBD category candidates need to pay Rs 100 as Intimation Charges only.

Selection Process:
Selection for the aforementioned posts will be done through ONLINE examinations in Phase - I and Phase - II and interview. Detailed scheme of selection is given at Appendix - II (Gr. B(DR)-General) / Appendix - Ill (Gr. B(DR)-DEPR) and Gr. B(DR)-DSIM) which are available on the Bank's website www.rbi.org.in.
