Ratan Tata shares throwback image on Instagram, picture goes viral

Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata on Thursday took to his official Instagram handle to share an old image, which has gone viral on the social media platform. The throwback image from the Tata Chairman is from his Los Angeles days. The 82-year-old seems quite familiar with the social media lingo and in the caption, stated that he wanted to share the image on Wednesday but delayed it by a day for a throwback Thursday.

"I was going to post this yesterday, but I was then told about `throwbacks` and how they occur on Thursdays. So here is a throwback from my days in LA, not long before I happily returned to India. #throwbackthursday," the caption of the image read.

Since Ratan Tata has published the image, it has gone viral with 2,40,000 likes and 2,800 comments so far on Instagram. "Perfect balance of purpose, vision, and a brilliant sense of humour. You rock Sir," a user wrote.

Earlier this week, Tata had shown his love for dogs by sharing an image where he is hugging a black and white dog around the neck and saying, "What I look forward to every day at office. My friend Goa." Goa is reported to be the 'leader-of-the-pack' at the Tata Group's headquarters.

Ratan Tata's Bombay House has a well-built kennel to solely serve stray dogs.
