Rakesh Jhunjhunwala: Know unfulfilled dream of the Big Bull, an idol of common investors
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday condoled the demise of veteran stock market investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, and lauded his contribution to the financial world. He tweeted, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was indomitable.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, India's Warren Buffet passed away on Sunday morning in Mumbai due to Cardiac arrest. The 62-year-old was an idol of common investors. His dream to invite Winston Churchill, a British statesman, soldier, writer who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom; Atal Bihari Vajpayee who served three terms as the prime minister of India and businessman and philanthropist -George Soros for dinner remained unfulfilled.

Jhunjhunwala started his journey from Rs 5,000 and went on to become a multi-billionaire,said Mandar Karve, a PTI report added.
Earlier, the investors assumed that the stock market was akin to betting, but he proved them wrong by investing on the basis of thorough study of the market after watching news channels and newspapers, said Karve, a small-time investor,a PTI report added.
Union Minister Smriti Irani also paid tribute to ace stock market investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala who passed away on Sunday.
"I lost my brother today .. A relationship not known to many. They call him a billionaire investor, the badshah of BSE .. But what he really was .. Is and always will be .. Is a dreamer," she tweeted.
"Bhaiyya always told me ' apan apne dam par jeyenge ' .. And he lived on his own terms 'Rakesh Jhunjhunwala' the legend, the legacy will live on," she added in another tweet.
