Parliament Attack: 6 involved in Lok Sabha security breach; five identified; 2 on the run
Lok Sabha Attack: In the case of security lapse at the Lok Sabha on Wednesday (December 13, 2023), the Delhi Police said that a total of six people were involved in the conspiracy. The police has identified five people, while the sixth person has not been identified. The police said that while two people created a ruckus inside the Lok Sabha, while two people created a ruckus outside the Parliament. Lok Sabha security breach came on the 22nd anniversary of the Parliament attack, which happened on the same date in 2001.
Parliament Attack, Lok Sabha Security Breach: In the case of security lapse at the Lok Sabha on Wednesday (December 13, 2023), the Delhi Police said that a total of six people were involved in the conspiracy. The police has identified five people, while the sixth person has not been identified. The police said that while two people created a ruckus inside the Lok Sabha, while two people created a ruckus outside the Parliament.
All five people who came from outside Delhi stayed at one place in Gurugram at the house of a person named Lalit Jha.
Two people are absconding in this case, the agency is busy searching.
According to agency sources, everything was done with complete planning.
Earlier, there was a major security lapse during the winter session of the Parliament today as during the proceedings, two youths suddenly broke the security cordon and jumped from the visitor's gallery.

They reached near the seats of the members of Parliament (MPs). It suddenly created chaos at the Lower House of the Parliament.

The youths were caught and the proceedings had been adjourned till 2 pm. The proceedings of the Lok Sabha resumed at 2 pm.

The security breach happened on the anniversary of Parliament attack, which happened on December 13, 2001.
How the event unfolded
One of the man who jumped from the gallery to the Lok Sabha chamber was seen jumping over the MP benches.

As soon as disruption started, the Lok Sabha speaker called for adjournment.
Eyewitnesses said that the intruder was seen jumping over the benches, shouting slogans and soking some unknown substance.
Meanwhile, two protestors, a man and a woman, carrying smoke canisters, were arrested by the Delhi Police in front of Transport Bhawan.
The man has been identified as Amol Shinde (25), a native of Maharashtra, while the woman, who is 42, has been identified as Neelam from Haryana’s Hisar.
