Punjab government is imposing a night curfew in the state from today to restrict the movement of the public.
As the Covid cases in Punjab have been rising rapidly, the Punjab government is imposing a night curfew in the state from today to restrict the movement of the public. This order will remain in force till January 15, 2021, in the state.
According to the new guidelines issued by the government, the night curfew will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily.
All educational institutions, including schools, colleges, universities, and coaching institutes will stay closed for offline sessions, although virtual classes will continue. However, medical and nursing schools have been allowed to operate routinely.
Bars, cinemas halls, multiplexes, malls, restaurants, spas, museums, and zoos may operate at 50% capacity if all employees are completely vaccinated.
Sports Complexes, stadia, swimming pools, Gyms will remain shut and only athletes preparing for national or international competitions will be permitted entry.
The new guideline also states that only fully vaccinated employees will be permitted to work in government and private workplaces, however, no restrictions have been announced yet regarding political meetings or rallies.

-Night curfew imposed in Punjab from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am
-Order will remain in force till January 15.
-Buses, cinema halls, restaurants, malls, spas will open with 50% capacity
-Order of full vaccination to the staff of Bus, Cinema Hall, Mall Restaurants in Punjab
-Sports complexes, stadia, swimming pools, gyms will remain shut
-Only fully vaccinated employees will be allowed to government and private offices
