Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra signs first brand endorsement with Tata AIA Life Insurance

Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has signed his first brand endorsement with life insurance sector company Tata AIA Life Insurance and has become its brand ambassador.

The company sells life protection and health and wellness insurance schemes to its customers and over the next few years Neeraj will support the company's efforts in offering best in class solutions.

On becoming the brand ambassador of Tata AIA Life Insurance, Neeraj Chopra said that it is important for the people of India, especially the youth, to know about life insurance, apart from this people should also set financial goals at the right time.

The gold medalist believes that Corona has made people realize the vital need for physical and emotional well-being in our day to day lives.

On the question of endorsing brands of other companies Neeraj said that the athlete's career is short, so he will not mind becoming the brand ambassador of other companies.

According to Venky Iyer, Executive Vice President of Tata AIA Life Insurance, India's insurance premium to GDP penetration is less than 4 percent, so there is immense potential in insurance sector. He said that the company's further focus will be in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Earlier Neeraj was see in a public awareness campaign started by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to warn people against digital banking frauds.
