If you have got vaccinated and have plans to go abroad then you must know that you can now add your passport number on your vaccination certificate. The Co-Win portal has introduced an option using which users will be able to link their vaccination certificates to their passport numbers.

The information was provided by the official Twitter handle of the Aarogya Setu App.

"Now you can update your Passport number in your vaccination certificate," Aarogya Setu tweeted.

In case name on certificate does not match name on passport, you can request for name correction as well

Entering passport number and requesting name change can only be done once, so please ensure there are no mistakes in entering the details

Here is a step-by-step guide for your consideration:

Step 1: Login to http://cowin.gov.in.

Step 2: Select Raise a Issue.

Step 3: Select the passport option.

Step 4: Select the person from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Enter passport number.

Step 6: Submit.

Users can note that they will receive the new certificate in seconds after they complete all the steps mentioned above.

In another tweet Aarogya Setu further said that in case the name mentioned on the certificate does not match the name on passport then one can request for name correction as well.

However, users need to note that entering passport number and requesting name change can only be done once, so please ensure there are no mistakes in entering the details.
