Ahmedabad Mumbai New Vande Bharat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated a new Vande Bharat Express train from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, which is capable of reaching up to 160 km/hour. PM Modi also inaugurated the orange-coloured Vande Bharat Express alongside nearly nine other Vande Bharat trains across the country. Train commuters had raised demand for a new Vande Bharat Express on this route after the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat was started. The average daily ridership exceeded capacity, prompting the need for additional services to accommodate the growing number of passengers.

Vande Bharat Train Schedule

Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express will provide the services starting today. Vande Bharat will run six days a week, except Sunday. Train No. 22962 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 06:10 hrs and reach Mumbai Central at 11:35 hrs. The train will make stops at Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, and Borivali before reaching Mumbai Central at 11.35 a.m. The train has 16 coaches and is designed to make travel between these major cities faster and more comfortable. It will halt at key stations, including Borivali, Vapi, Surat, and Vadodara.

In return, train number 22961 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart from Mumbai Central at 15:55 hrs and reach Ahmedabad at 21:25 hrs. This train will stop at Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, and Borivali stations in both directions.

Vande Bharat train extended till Okha

Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Superfast Express train No. 22925/22926 is being extended up to the Okha station. Train No. 22925 Ahmedabad-Okha Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 18:10 hrs every day except Tuesday and reach Okha at 00:40 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, train number 22926 Okha-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart from Okha at 03:40 hrs every day except Wednesday and will reach Ahmedabad at 10:10 hrs on the same day. This train will stop at Sabarmati, Sanand, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot, Jamnagar, and Dwarka stations in both directions. This train will have AC chair car and executive chair car coaches.
