Mumbai rains update: Railways services resume today as staff does stellar work to ease water-logging crisis
Mumbai rains, which hit Railways services for a couple of days, inconveniencing the travelling public in the region, but there is good news today. Services resumed in the city today as all three lines including Up, Down, and Middle are now operational, said the Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO).

According to IANS report, Central Railway CPRO said that, "No water-logging has been reported on the Railways tracks, Kurla to Mulund section recorded 13 mm rainfall during the last one hour. Now all three lines have been made operational."
The Central Railway gave the credit to the Railways staff to resolve the train issues during incessant rainfall. "Due to non stop efforts of dedicated staff, Central Railway Mumbai suburban services on Main line, harbour, trans harbour, 4th corridor are running in spite of unprecedented rains," Central Railway posted on Facebook yesterday.
To clear the rush during peak hours during the ceaseless rainfall in Mumbai, Central Railways had scheduled eight special trains from Dombivali and Thane railway stations in Mumbai earlier this week.
On Monday morning, the Monsoon's heavy rains caused water-logging in several areas of Mumbai which were also affected the flight operations at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
