Market Buzz Today: Sensex down 342.33 points, Nifty down or 0.90%; Escorts gains 6.68%.

The benchmark indices trimmed losses after hitting fresh intraday low in afternoon trade. The Nifty continued to trade below the 12,050 level. At 2:28pm, the S&P BSE Sensex, tumbled 342.33 points or 0.83% at 40,856.33. The Nifty 50 index lost 109.15 points or 0.90% at 12,020.35, while Bank Nifty was down by 324.55 points or 1.05% to 30,552.45. Here is the list of some stocks: 

Escorts: Up 6.68%. Extends yesterday's gains post good results. HSBC raised Target from 830 to 900 today. 

Godrej Consumer: Down 7.3%. Extends yesterday's fall post bad numbers. Credit Suisse provides a neutral target of 680 (Current Market Price: 691). 

MCX: Down 7.62%. SEBI tightened norms for commodity derivatives yesterday.

Bajaj Auto: Up 1.69%. Stock up post good numbers. Margins better than estimates, up 2% (YoY). Margins 17.9% vs 15.6% (Expected 15.8%). 

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd: Down 6%. Unit VII gets OAI status from the US health regulator, USFDA. Contributes 25-30% in US Sales. Could get a warning letter. 

NBCC down 4.26%. Last day in F&O today.
