Mann Ki Baat - Modi addresses 79th edition – Nation will mark VIJAY DIWAS tomorrow 26 July, need to unite and work towards "National Progress", PM says

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation in his monthly edition of radio programme Mann Ki Baat. This was the 79th edition of the programme. The address was broadcast live on the entire network of AIR and Doordarshan and also on AIR News website www.newsonair.gov.in and newsonair Mobile App.

The Mann Ki Baat was also streamed live on the YouTube channels of AIR, DD News, PMO and Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

In the previous edition of Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister Modi touched upon several issues. While he bagan his address by paying tributes to Late Milkha Singh, he also spoke about the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.

He also lauded the efforts of hardworking doctors of India and urged the nation to overcome vaccine hesitancy. On the rumours surround the vaccines, the PM urged people to trust science and the Indian scientists. He said that so many people had taken the vaccine. He appealed to the people to never believe on negative rumours relating to the vaccine

“Those who are spreading rumours on vaccines, let them be. We all will do our work and ensure people around us get vaccinated,” PM Modi had said.

So many Indians have worked to strengthen our fight against COVID-19, he had said and also praised the CA Community in India.
