Kolkata Police Recruitment 2019: Kolkata Police invites Sarkari Job application for the post of 334 Civic Volunteers. The last date to apply for the post is 06 August 2019. The eligible candidates are suggested to apply through the official website www.kolkatapolice.gov.in. The job location will be in Kolkata (West Bengal). 

According to the notification, there are total 334 posts out of which 80 vacancies are for Traffic Department, 10 for South Suburban Division, 15 for South-East Division, 08 for East Division, 30 for North & North Suburban Division, 10 for Eastern Suburban Division, 08 for South Division, 25 for Port Division, 15 for South West Division, 05 Central Division, 10 for Brigade Headquarter, 02 for Kolkata Mounted Police and 116 posts for Kolkata Home Guard Organization. 

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should be preferably a resident of the area under the Kolkata Police jurisdiction, with the minimum educational qualification of Class VIII Pass. Also the preference would be given to the applicants who have done well in sports and have experience as NCC Cadet / Boy Scouts / NSS Guide / Civil Defence Volunteers etc. 

Age limit:
Minimum age of the applicant should be 20 years (as on 1st day of January 2019) and the maximum age is 60 years.

Selection Process:
Selection of Civic Volunteers for enrolment in Kolkata Police will be done through the process of interview by the selection committee.
