Kartavya Path Photography Contest: In order to participate in the 'I am on Kartavya Path' photography contest, participants need to share photographs using #KartavyaPath.
Kartavya Path Photography Contest: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated Kartavya Path, earlier known as Rajpath. The stretch from Rashtrapathi Bhavan to India Gate has been made more pedestrian-friendly. Along the stretch, there will be state-wise food stalls, vending kiosks and new amenity blocks. Several other such measures have been taken to make the entire stretch more accessible to commuters.
In order to make the street safe, four new pedestrian underpasses have been built at busy junctions. A lot of people have started thronging the revamped stretch. With this, the lively crowd around India Gate with people of all ages enjoying the entire stretch and taking selfies and clicking photos is back.
Now, these visitors have a chance to win a cash prize of up to Rs 10,000. All they have to do is to click some mesmerizing photos of Kartavya Path and share them with the government as part of the 'I am on Kartavya Path' photography contest.'
The photography contest has been launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
How to participate in Kartavya Path Photography Contest?
In order to participate in the 'I am on Kartavya Path' photography contest, participants need to share photographs using #KartavyaPath. While sharing these photographs, participants need to tag @MyGovIndia on any social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Koo, Roposo etc.

Kartavya Path Photography Contest: Rewards
According to the website mygov.in, two best photographs will be awarded weekly and one every month.
- The best photographs selected on weekly basis will get a prize of Rs 5,000 each.
- Apart from this, a 'Kartavya Path Photo' will also be selected every month. According to the website, a prize of Rs 10,000 will be awarded to the winner.
Last date of submission for Kartavya Path Photography contest:
The last date to share your photographs is January 31, 2023.
Things to know
All citizens of India can contest in this photography contest and the submission of entry is free. The participants will have to complete their MyGov profile in order to be eligible for prize money. In order to complete the MyGov profile, participants need to provide details like contact number, email id, bank details, and postal addresses.
Also, the entry must be submitted in JPG or JPEF or PNG format.
