Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has released a notification of recruitment for the positions of Assistant Professor in various departments. The number of vacancies available are 39 spread across various subject departments. The candidates are requested to submit their application in the prescribed format online before the last date of submission. • Assistant Professor : 23 seats
• Professor : 6 seats

Eligibility 

• Associate Professor :  Post-graduate in Arts, Humanities, Education, Law, Social Sciences (Psychology, Anthropology,   Social   Work,   Economics,   Geography,   Sociology),   Sciences,   Languages,   and  Mass Communication; and inter-disciplinary subjects (eg. Environmental Science, Gender Studies, Development Studies, etc.)
• Assistant Professor : Post-graduate in Arts, Humanities, Education, Law, Social Sciences (Psychology, Anthropology,   Social   Work,   Economics,   Geography,   Sociology),   Sciences,   Languages,   and  Mass Communication; and inter-disciplinary subjects (eg. Environmental Science, Gender Studies, Development Studies, etc.)
• Professor : Post-graduate in Arts, Humanities, Education, Law, Social Sciences (Psychology, Anthropology,   Social   Work,   Economics,   Geography,   Sociology),   Sciences,   Languages,   and   Mass Communication; and inter-disciplinary subjects (eg. Environmental Science, Gender Studies, Development Studies, etc.)

The candidates are supposed to fill the application in the prescribed format only. No other mode of submission will be accepted. The candidates are also required to pay the application fee of Rs 2,000 for General and OBC candidates. Meanwhile SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 500. The application fee should be paid by online mode only.
