IRCTC offers new 5-day tour to Andaman: Check cost, other details

If you want to get relief from this scorching hot summer, then IRCTC has an exciting offer for you. The Indian Railways' subsidiary IRCTC Tourism has a tour package for Andaman which starts at Rs 22,299 per person. It has been named as "Andaman Delights Ex Kolkata". The package is for four nights and five days from Kolkata and the destinations covered are Port Blair and Havelock. As the Indian Railways on its official website irctctourism.com stated, under this package tourists will be provided standard class seats in airlines. IRCTC Tourism website says that the journey will commence on August 10, 2019.
 
In the triple occupancy segment, tour package starts at Rs 22,299 and on double occupancy, it is Rs 23,099 the tariff is for children with a bed is Rs 20,799.  The journey from Kolkata to Andaman will be via Airlines. The travelling mode will be from Kolkata-Port Blair- Kolkata. 

IRCTC's package includes entry permits, entry tickets, ferry tickets, forest area permits and air-conditioned accommodation at all places. So you will not have to bear many extra expenses. The package covers almost all the major expenses.
 
The tourists have only bear personal expenses like laundry, porterage facility, tips, insurance, liquor and room service. Children above 2 years and below 12 years will need an air ticket. However, a child between 1 and 4 years of age can share a bed with their parents in a hotel. Also, Infant fare of age below 2 years needs to be deposited in cash by the customer at IRCTC office at the time of booking.
