IPL 2020 transfer window opens Tuesday: Chris Gayle, Imran Tahir to Moeen Ali – Full list of players available

IPL 2020 transfer window: The Indian Premier League is nicely placed at the half way mark with at least seven of the eight sides in contention for play-off places. Even the bottom placed Kings XI Punjab can mathematically enter the top four. That will require the team to win all their games and also others to lose. At this interesting phase, the IPL 2020 transfer window will open on Tuesday, allowing franchises to add new players to their sides. 

What is IPL 2020 Transfer Window? 

The Indian Premier League has added a transfer window at the half way mark. It opens on Tuesday when all teams would have played at least seven matches. The window can be compared to the January transfer window in football where teams are allowed to add players from other sides which can make a difference in the latter part of the tournament. 

During this window, the teams will be allowed to buy players from other sides – both Indian and overseas – if they are yet to play more than two matches this season. This makes several big names available for grabs.
