HP Police recruitment 2019: 1063 vacancies available at hppolice.gov.in; here is how to apply

HP Police Recruitment 2019: HP Police aka Himanchal Pradesh Police has invited applications for 1063 posts of Constables. Last Date for submission of application form is on 30 April 2019. Interested candidates can apply through its official website www.hppolice.gov.in. One should also know that the job location is in Himachal Pradesh. Out of these, 720 posts are for male constables while 214 seats are for female. There are also 213 seats for drivers. Expected pay scale is Rs. ( 10,300-34,800 )/-pm. 

Candidates need to first clear the Physical Standard test in which the standard height set for a male is 5-7″ (minimum) and females are 5-2″ (minimum). Also the Physical Endurance Test (PET) in which the Long Race (For Male) is 1500 meters in 6 and 30 Minutes ( six minutes thirty seconds ), and for Long Race (For Female) it is 800 meters in 6 and 30 Minutes ( six minutes thirty seconds ).

Application Fees  
General category candidates need to pay 140/- and SC/ ST/ OBC/ IRDP category candidates need to pay Rs.35/- as Application Fees. 

Eligibility criteria
Candidates need to be Passed Intermediate Examination Or equivalent from any Government recognized Board. The age limit set for the post is 18 – 23 years as on 01.01.2019.

Selection process  
The selection process will be done on the basis of Physical standard, PET, PST and Written Examination.
