How to reprint Aadhaar card online? This is how UIDAI self-service portal uidai.gov.in can help you

Reprint Aadhaar card online: The 12-digit personal identification number under Aadhaar programme offers a host of online services to Aadhaar holders through UIDAI or Unique Identification Authority of India, which issues Aadhaar cards. The UIDAI's “self-service portal”, uidai.gov.in, also extends many facilities to users if they want to change their address fed into their Aadhaar profile, lock/unlock their biometrics information associated with it, besides other options.

Those who are eager to avail this facility can follow the steps given below to use the "self-service" portal (uidai.gov.in).
1. Users can go ahead with an online order for Aadhaar reprint through a pilot facility after paying a fee of Rs 50 per Aadhaar reprint. This includes GST and speed post charges, as said in the UIDAI Tweet.
2. Those who want to avail this facility should first log in at UIDAI portal through their registered mobile number. An OTP (one-time password) is sent to the user to verify his/her identity.
If you want to change your address given on your Aadhaar card, you can do it through UIDAI website.
1. Users should login with Aadhaar at uidai.gov.in
2. Now you should put a request for address update
3. You should upload the requisite documents
4. Finally, select BPO Service Provider and submit your request
If you have a registered mobile number, you can update your address using the UIDAI's self-service portal, according to UIDAI, which also informs that the registered mobile number with Aadhaar is mandatory to avail this facility. Notably, users will receive a password for login on their mobile number.

Users can also change their Aadhaar-registered mobile number. For doing this, they need to have a mobile number registered with the Aadhaar programme so that they can access Aadhaar services including verification of Aadhaar number as well as email/mobile number registered with Aadhaar, and locking/unlocking of an individual's biometrics-related information on Aadhaar, said the website.
