GATE 2020 application last date: Process ends today, register now at appsgate.iitd.ac.in to avoid late fee
GATE 2020 will be conducted for 25 subjects and it would be distributed over 1st, 2nd, 8th & 9th of February 2020. The GATE examination centres are spread in different cities across India, as well as, in six cities outside India.
Gate 2020 Application: Today is the last date to register for the Graduate Aptitude Test in engineering aka Gate 2020 ie. 24th September 2019. Interested candidates who wish to get admission can log in to the official website gate.iitd.ac.in and register today to avoid late fees. Interested candidates looking for PG course or Master's program in financial assistance or direct doctoral program in Engineering/Technology/Architecture etc. in the MHRD supported institutions can log in at the above mentioned official website and fill the available Gate 2020 Application Form and submit it on or before 24th September 2019. Interested aspirants are suggested to complete the registration process by paying the fees by today or else they will be charged an extra amount as late fees.

For general category candidates the application fees till today is Rs 1500, for SC/ST/PwD/female candidate is Rs 750 respectively.
Steps to register for GATE 2020 Exam online:
1. Visit official website ie. appsgate.iitd.ac.in
2. Click on the option ‘New User? Register Here’
3. Enter required details such as personal, academic and communication details as asked
4. Upload scanned copies of educational and other documents
5. Pay application fees
6. Preview the filled application form carefully and correct mistakes, if any
7. Submit the final application form and take a printout of the confirmation page
About GATE exam
The GATE exam is conducted for admissions to M.Tech and M.Sc programmes in Engineering, Technology and Architecture. GATE is a national level examination and is also used to determine the eligibility for recruitment by certain organizations like the DRDO, under the Government of India. Meanwhile, those who qualify in GATE 2020 will be admitted to various Masters programmes at IIT’s, NIT’s, GFTI’s and IISc apart from other renowned technical institutes.
GATE 2020 exam would be conducted jointly by the IISc (Indian Institute of Science), Bengaluru and the seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee)
