GATE 2020 Application last date; Good news! Deadline extended, Apply with late fee until 5th October at appsgate.iitd.ac.in
The deadline has been extended till Oct 5 2019 which will help students who have missed out on registering for the exam in time by paying the necessary extra fees.
GATE 2020 Application last date: IIT Delhi – the organizing institute for GATE 2020 Exam, has extended the application deadline with late fee. As per the notification available website of GATE 2020 ie. appsgate.iitd.ac.in the candidates will now be able to apply for GATE 2020 exam until 5th October 2019 ie. Saturday. Earlier, the last date to apply for GATE 2020 was 28 September 2019. The deadline has been extended till Oct 5 2019 which will help students who have missed out on registering for the exam in time by paying the necessary extra fees.
As per the notice, the students who are interested in applying for the examination and agreed to pay the late fee can apply till 5th October 2019.
GATE 2020: Application fee
After September 28, Candidates belonging to general category are required to pay Rs 2000 for the GATE 2020 application form, while reserved category students will have to pay Rs 1250.
GATE 2020 Important dates:
The last date for requesting change of examination city (an additional fee will be applicable) can be done till 15th November 2019. However, the admit cards will be available in the Online Application Portal (for printing) on 3rd January 2020.
GATE 2020 Exam details:
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi will be conducting the GATE 2020 exams on February 1, 2, 8 and 9. The examination is scheduled for 2 shifts, Forenoon timing is for 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Tentative) and Afternoon is for 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (Tentative).

Announcement of the results will be done on 16th March 2020 on the official website ie. appsgate.iitd.ac.in
