Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is on a tour of Chennai and Hyderabad on September 30 and October 1, 2021, respectively, the NSitharamanOffice informed on Wednesday.
NSitharamanOffice via a tweet on its official Twitter account also informed about the programme details of the Finance Minister. "Programme details of Smt nsitharaman's tour of Chennai and Hyderabad on 30th September and 1st October, respectively," it tweeted.

As per the information provided, Sitharaman will be in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on Thursday. As per the schedule the Finance Minister met with senior GST and Custom officials at Grand Ball Room, Hotel Taj Coromandel at 11:30 am.

She has a meeting with senior officials of Income Tax Department at the same venue at 2:30 pm after which she will be leaving to Aayakar Bhawan, Nungambakkam, Chennai for the inauguration of residential tower "SIGARAM" for Income tax Officers at 5 pm.
While, on Friday, October 1, 2021, the Finance Minister will be in Hyderabad, Telangana and will be having a meeting with senior officials of the Income Tax Department at 11 am at Hotel Taj Krishna.
She will be having another set of meeting with senior GST and Custom Officials at the same venue at 1:30 pm.
