Earthquake in Uttarakhand Today: Strong quake of magnitude 4.0 shakes hill state, spreads panic

Earthquake in Uttarakhand Today: An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 has been recored on the Richter scale in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh on Friday i.e. today. The earthquake in Uttarakhand today was reported at 4:38 PM having its epicentre at a depth of 33 km north-northeast of Pithoragarh, reported  National Centre of Seismology (NCS).

The depth of the earthquake reported in Uttarakhand was 8 kms. No reports any damage or casualty or damage to the public property has been reproted till the report was written.

Around a week ago, a strong quake shook Delhi-NCR, including Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad. Th tremors were so strong that they spread panic and people rushed out of their homes out into the open.

This earthquake in Delhi-NCR came afetr another quake in Rajasthan. An earthquake of 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale had hit Rajasthan's Bikaner last Friday, informed the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
